Yates Construction provided design-build construction services for the Wallace Creek Regimental Complex Phase I. Located on a 225-acre campus, the project supports the activities of over 3,000 marines. The complex includes nearly 570,000 SF of construction in 20 structures built concurrently, including two headquarters facilities, six bachelor enlisted quarters, a dining facility, a motor transport facility, an electronic telecommunications facility, a data center, an armory, an indoor simulated marksmanship training facility, a supply facility, and a telephone exchange building. The project achieved LEED® Certification. Sustainable features include high-performing building envelopes, recycled or regional materials, and the selection of mechanical and electrical systems focusing on performance and efficiency.
