Residence Halls North and Center for America’s Veterans

Yates Construction provided construction services on Mississippi State University’s Residence Halls North and Center for America’s Veterans. The project consists of three separate buildings in a campus setting, interconnecting open pedestrian walkways and landscaping between the structures. The project includes two dormitories, 752 student beds, and one activity and counseling center. Deavenport Hall is a five-story, 108,000 SF building, and Dogwood Hall is a five-story, 131,000 SF building that contains the Department of Housing and Residence Life’s Central Housing Office. The buildings have community kitchens, laundry rooms, and private bathrooms. The Center for America’s Veterans is a one-story, 7,000 SF building with administrative offices, a meeting area, and student-support spaces.
