CenturyLink Technology Center of Excellence

Yates Construction provided construction services for the CenturyLink Technology Center of Excellence. This project includes a three-story 250,000 SF technology center with research and development labs, offices, and meeting space; a three-story 40,000 SF mechanical plant; a five-story, 1,050-car parking garage; and a two-acre courtyard with fountains and pools. The facility has a Tier II data center that is convertible to Tier III classification. The facility accommodates approximately 800 employees and is LEED® Silver certified. 

Sustainability was a priority throughout design and construction. One of the unique sustainable components of this project includes a green roof with a mixture of 28 varieties of slow-growing vegetation that bloom throughout the year. The facility also features Smart Building controls for mechanical and electrical systems and View Dynamic Glass intelligent windows.
